How our laser combination works

By combining the Q-switched Nd:YAG and Cynosure Synergy lasers, we can target a wider range of skin concerns with exceptional precision – from deep pigmentation to superficial redness – often in a single treatment plan.

Q-switched Nd:YAG precision

Ultra-short pulses of light target and shatter unwanted melanin into tiny particles, which your body naturally clears away. Sun spots, age spots, and uneven skin tone fade without harming the surrounding tissue.

Cynosure Synergy versatility

The Cynosure Synergy uniquely combines a Pulsed Dye Laser (595nm) and an Nd:YAG (1064nm) in one platform. This dual-wavelength approach treats vascular concerns – redness, rosacea, broken capillaries – and pigmented lesions in a single, complete session.

Minimal discomfort & downtime

Most clients describe the sensation as a light rubber-band snap. Treatments are typically completed in 20–30 minutes with minimal to no downtime – you can return to your daily activities shortly after your session.

Common questions about our laser treatments

This depends on the concern being treated. Vascular lesions like redness and broken capillaries often respond well in 2–4 sessions. Pigmentation such as sun spots typically requires 3–6 sessions, spaced 2–4 weeks apart. We'll give you a realistic plan during your consultation.

Yes – that's one of the key advantages of the Cynosure Synergy platform. Its dual-wavelength design means vascular and pigmented concerns can be addressed in the same session, reducing the overall number of appointments needed.

For most treatments, downtime is minimal. After vascular treatment, some temporary redness or mild bruising may occur for a day or two. For focused pigment removal, treated spots may darken briefly before flaking away naturally over 5–7 days. Most clients return to normal activities the same day.

The Q-switched Nd:YAG at 1064nm is well-suited to a wide range of skin types, including darker complexions, as it targets deep melanin with reduced risk of surface disruption. A skin assessment at consultation will confirm the safest parameters for your skin type.

Yes. Our approach to melasma uses low-fluence Q-switched laser passes to gradually lighten hormonal pigmentation without over-stimulating the skin. By keeping energy levels conservative and spacing sessions appropriately, we significantly reduce the risk of post-treatment rebound darkening.
